Skeleton" clock with the theme "Return from Egypt" in chased and gilded bronze. Early Empire period. White enameled dial with blue enameled surround dotted with gold stars. Signed Caillouet Paris. A Parisian clockmaker of the early 19th century, his work features the "A l'égyptienne" theme (ref Kjelleberg pages 350 and 381). Height: 42 cm. Chips and dial retouch.
