AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY SILVER PLATED "CHAMPAGNE BOTTLE" CIGAR HOLDER c.1910 AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY SILVER PLATED "CHAMPAGNE BOTTLE" CIGAR HOLDER c.1910 Antique early-20th Century novelty silver plated champagne bottle shaped cigar holder, decorated with a tobacco leaf and a cigars sign, the bottle is made up of various screwed on compartments for cigars, tobacco and matches. Stamped on the base by the Pairpoint Manufacturing Company, Manufacturers of Silver Plated Ware, Howland and Prospect Streets, USA. It is easy to imagine the appeal behind this object which would have made wonderful item to wow the guests, making a fantastic conversation piece and wonderful as part of a collection of barware and tobacconalia in the modern home.
