Au Globe S.N [Desnos] à Paris, 1765 - Superb, finely executed atlas by Desnos, featuring 1 engraved frontispiece after Eisen with accompanying explanation, 58 magnificent engraved and colored maps (out of 60), all on double-page mounts, very fresh and free of foxing. The book's 2 in-limine and in-fine maps are missing.
A very fine copy in period binding, full calf, 5-rib spine with richly ornamented boxes, red morocco title page, some rubbing and spidermooring not serious, interior in very good condition.
