Blanchard, second edition of 1819 - A very fine copy of this delightful work, complete with its 29 plates, all watercolored, and its illustrated frontispiece title, also colored at the time. Most copies have not been colored, but this one has been superbly executed. Subsequent editions will include additional engravings and maps.
Bound in full calf with beautifully decorated spine and red morocco title-piece. Some light rubbing and foxing, not serious. Superb condition.
Italian format in-12 oblong. 202pp.
