Illustrated with 50 black and colored compositions in the text, including 11 full-page and 3 double-page ones by André Dunoyer de Segonzac, wood-engraved by Jacques Beltrand.
One of the author's finest works dedicated to the First World War.
Limited edition of 180 copies, this being one of the 10 copies of the head edition on Japon, complete with the announced double suites and a superb ORIGINAL DRAWING SIGNED by Dunoyer de Segonzac.
Copy in sheets, consisting of two volumes in publisher's double slipcases (slight rubbing, otherwise very good condition), with one volume devoted to the suites.
