Published by Carteret, Paris, 1923 - A very fine edition of this gastronomic classic, masterfully illustrated by Henri le Pille and Maurice Leloir, and engraved by Léon Boisson, this is a "Belle publication cotée".
One of 300 numbered copies on Hollande vellum. The interior is very fresh, with no foxing and the usual light foxing.
Superb modern bindings signed by Th. Roux in full morocco, 5-rib spine, title, author and tomaison in gilt lettering, triple framing of cold filets and gilt filets with "à la Du Seuil" decoration on center boards, same triple framing repeated to frame entire boards, gilt heads.
A very attractive copy.
