Coeval burgundy morocco binding in the arms of Louis-Henri de Loménie, comte de Brienne (1636-1698) with threading to the plates, gilt friezes and title on spine gusset, nailing à dentelles, gilt edges. Very fresh and reglé specimen with important provenance. The work also contains the Vita Vergilii in verse by Phocas.
