Eighteenth-century manuscript on paper in 8° format (170 x 118 mm) for the use of the dragoons of France on horse knowledge and horsemanship of 340 pages, text framed in fillet frame, chapter titles in sepia and red ink. Valuable and unusual graphic ornaments at beginning and end of volume. Volume within coeval leather binding, red boards. First page reads a note "Corrigé et augmenté par M. Le Chev. de Villeronde ancien officier des Mousquetaires capitain de cavalerie, commissaire ... 1770".
