In 4° oblong (173 x 230 mm). 121 engraved nautical charts, but actually 123 with charts 18bis and 36bis (tear to plate 91 restored, other minor defects, the plates in the second volume partly detached, missing index card in the second volume). Leather binding (slightly different for the two volumes).
Very rare first edition with the 123detailed nautical charts depicting the main ports of the Mediterranean, essential for 18th-century sailors. (2)
