Prevost, Antoine François. General history of travel. Venice, Pietro Valvasense, 1751-64. In 8° (176 x 115 mm); 30 tomes in 10 volumes. Frontispieces printed in red and black, 287 maps, views, and plates engraved and mostly folded also several times (lack of text to one map, some blooming and other minor defects.) Early 19th-century binding in half leather in hazel color with friezes and title in gilt on smooth spine, blue boards. Exemplar with boards in very fresh condition and with more boards than other copies passed in auction. (10)
