[Horses]. First edition ofHistory of pleuro-pneumonia manifested in the horses of the R. Mandria since August 1831 and of the inauspicious termination of castration operated on eight horses and succeeded in some of them by tetanus by Carlo Lessona within handsome coeval binding in full purple morocco with beautiful phytomorphic frame and angular fleurons in gold on the plates. Also in the lot is Roberto Pauvet'sManuale d'ippiatrica militare of 1841 with 3 engraved plates and several times folded, a barbequed copy of Compendium of Various Recipes for Medicating Horses of 1780, Carlo Lessona's Patologia del cavallo of 1834, and finally Santoro Vincenzo's Patologia chirurgica speciale e chirurgia operatoria del piede del cavallo of 1880.
