Specimen with beards of the second edition of Les chats byFrançois Augustin Paradis de Moncrif dated 1728, within coeval mute cardboard binding, work illustrated by 10 engraved plates of which 2 are folded and 1 genealogical plate folded several times. This is the first monograph devoted entirely to cats. Also in the lot is a marginal copy of Le petit-neveu de Bocace, ou Contes nouveaux, en vers in the Amsterdam edition of 1777. (2)
