Tasso, Torquato. Gierusalemme liberata, heroic poem. Ferrara, heirs of Francesco Rossi, 1581. In 4° (206 x 150 mm);[8], 266, [2] pages. Frontispiece within xylographic figured frame, letterpress mark at end of volue (last 4 papers from other copy with restored lower margin, short frontispiece to outer margin). Coeval vellum binding, greaseproofed. Provenance with waxed coat of arms to the counterplate.
Second edition printed in Ferrara in 1581. Follows a few weeks later that of Vittorio Baldini.
