In 4° (245 x 193 mm);[6], 126, [2] pp. 13 engraved and folded plates (tear to one plate restored, sporadic blooming.) Coeval vellum binding with gold title on gusset to smooth spine, green boards (provenance removed from title page).
Rare second edition following the 1572 princeps. Bassi, considered one of the most industrious architects of the second half of theXVI century, is best remembered for his friction with Pellegrino Tibaldi during his collaboration with the Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano.
