Empire ottoman, XIXème siècle Shamshir saber (composite). Fusée with squared wood, brass and green leather plates, metal cruise with two domed quillons. Antique single-edged blade with six gutters, two of which are small, and stepped flat back, redecorated with stars, tip finished with a counter-edge. With a scabbard with molded black leather-covered wooden cores, central metal braid, two bracelets with two iron rings, attached, and bouterolle, restored. Blade length: 73.5 cm - Total length: 91.5 cm. Reconstituted handle; scratches; repolished metal parts, old corrosion.
