LASSENCE - RONGÉ in Liege.
Pair of pistols.
Percussion caps engraved with scrolls in black patina, hammers decorated en suite.
Octagonal damascus barrels, signed in gilt lettering and engraved with thunder scrolls. Scratched. Cal. 12 mm. Liege proofhouse stamp.
Walnut shafts with foliate scroll carvings and gadrooned stocks.
Finger rests and engraved iron fittings, with patina following the locks.
Barrel length: 27.5 cm - Overall length: 42.5 cm.
Wear, scratches, bumps, a few cracks and small chips; burns and chips to both stocks; some surface oxidation; one hammer (stock less burned) does not mark the first army notch.
