A set of twelve chess or chaupara pieces of bone, ivory, and wood, India, probably Sind, Mansura, 9th-11th century.
Made of bone, ivory and wood, in various shapes, with carved or incised decoration.
D. at base 2.9 to 3.5 cm / H. 1.5 to 4.2 cm.
