Cloisonné enamel ewer
Resting on a high flared foot, the pear-shaped body is surmounted by a thin neck flared at the opening, the "S"-shaped pouring spout ending in a dragon's head, and flanked by a handle in the shape of a makara sea dragon in the opposite ear. The whole is decorated with polychrome enamels of lotus scrolls on a turquoise background, and "shou" longevity characters surrounded by friezes of bats in medallions on either side of the body. A chain links the lid to the handle.
