Albarello Faenza, first half of the 16th century Majolica. Height 18 cm. Conservation: chipping to the base and some glaze loss From the cylindrical, slightly tapering body, it accommodates the "porcelain-style" decoration with the apothecary inscription in Gothic characters in a wide central cartouche band. On the remaining surface thin leafy stems with berries and a broad fan-shaped palmette.
