Two large faience wall plates, Delft 18th century.
Round, hollowed plates with a sloping rim made of sand-colored earthenware, glazed beige and hand-painted with polychrome hot-fire colors. In the center two different depictions of floral arrangements with birds, the flags are decorated all around with floral geometric decoration. Inscribed on the reverse: F.K. and AK, probably De Witte Starre. Ø approx. 42 cm. With clear signs of age and use, with chips, glaze partially chipped at the edges, one with craquelure. With a hook for hanging on the back.
