Biberach beer mug, early 19th century.
Large, cylindrical beer jug made of gray, salt-glazed stoneware with cobalt blue painting and a pewter lid. The wall with incised, circumferential stripes, the front with ornamental decoration, the lid with a ring of oak leaves and a shell-shaped push button. Embossed on the inside: Utermann Biberach, and incised: Ingoldingen. Height approx. 23.5 cm. Good condition with signs of age and use, rim with chip.
