Abel Gance, one page, 4to, Paris, 4
th July 1928, on his Films Abel Gance printed stationery, to Pierre Flouquet, in French. The letter bears a very large and colourful heading, showing Napoleon on his white horse, pointing with his hand at his fleet, with the printed texts "The travels and feats of the great General Buonaparte in various countries" at the head, and "Films Abel Gance, 2 Rue Richelieu" at the base, with a small ink stamp beneath indicating the new address "27, rue Kleber". Gance states in part `
I find accidentally, beneath a stack of binders, this beautiful publication by Paul Werrie about your work, with the delicate inscription which you have dedicated to me..´ Matted in dark grey, attractively framed in gilt wood and glazed to an overall of 13 x 16. Folded. VG
