THEODORAKIS MIKIS: (1925-2021) Greek Composer. Best known for his scores for films such as
Zorba the Greek (1964) or
Serpico (1973). Largely regarded as Greece´s best-known composer. Theodorakis was a key voice against the military Greek Junta 1967-74 which imprisoned him and banned his songs. A very fine 8 x 10 photograph by Theodorakis, the image depicting the Greek composer in a head and shoulders pose, conducting the orchestra with his eyes shut.
