[BATTLE OF BRITAIN]: BEAMONT ROLAND (1920-2001) English Wing Commander, a fighter pilot for the RAF and experimental test pilot during World War II who participated in the Battle of Britain. A colour printed 4to magazine article, neatly removed from the September 2000 edition of Aeroplane magazine, being a special feature on Beamont as a Battle of Britain survivor, signed and inscribed by Beamont in black ink to a clear area of the title page alongside a war date image which he identifies as having been taken at RAF Exeter in August 1940 whilst serving with 87 Squadron. Together with a small selection of three signed printed images of various sizes (largest 8 x 5; each neatly removed from books or magazines) by Beamont, one of the images depicting him seated in the cockpit of his Lightning aircraft and another of the interceptor in flight. All are signed in bold black inks to clear areas of the images. Generally VG, 4
