[BATTLE OF BRITAIN]: BEAMONT ROLAND (1920-2001) English Wing Commander, a fighter pilot for the RAF and experimental test pilot during World War II who participated in the Battle of Britain. A colour printed 4to magazine article, neatly removed from the September 2000 edition of
Aeroplane magazine, being a special feature on Beamont as a Battle of Britain survivor, signed and inscribed by Beamont in black ink to a clear area of the title page alongside a war date image which he identifies as having been taken at RAF Exeter in August 1940 whilst serving with 87 Squadron.
Together with a small selection of three signed printed images of various sizes (largest 8 x 5; each neatly removed from books or magazines) by Beamont, one of the images depicting him seated in the cockpit of his Lightning aircraft and another of the interceptor in flight.
