Entirely chased and repoussé decoration from the later period, probably executed in the 19th century.
Representing scrolls, grapevines and foliage, satyrs, vases,
fantasy animals, cartouche on amatized background.
The handle is embellished with an acanthus leaf.
Hinged lid with radiating flutes.
Molded thumb rest.
Hallmarks on handle and body (slightly faded).
