SÈVRES
RARE COVERED VASE of "Dutch cup" form in hard porcelain, celadon ground; the base, body and cover with enameled and painted polychrome decoration in light relief of a frieze of white flowers in a garland of leaves in gold on a brown ground. Good condition.
Manufacture nationale de Sèvres, 1891.
Green manufacturing stamp S. (18)87, red decoration stamp "décoré à Sèvres" dated (18)91, painters' marks AB for Louis-Désiré Barré and W probably for Walter.
H. 34 cm.
(some play in the metal mounting rod).
