With hira-zukuri blade, uchizori mune, gonome hamon, each side outlined with gomabashi, two short throats; nakago with three mekugi-ana, signed Nôshû Seki (no) ju O Kanemichi.
The partly en suite koshirae, on the theme of crustaceans, with black lacquered scabbard decorated with shells in gold and silver maki-e; kojiri formed by a lobster in shibuichi that runs up the scabbard; kuri-gata in shibuichi ; small tsuba featuring two dragon fish clashing; fuchi-kashira in shibuichi decorated with tumultuous waves and an octopus, the fuchi signed; the two menuki featuring an octopus for one and three shells for the other.
With shakudo kozuka kogatana decorated with a golden lobster, the blade signed Kanemitsu.
