A Pair of Framed 17th Century Ecclesiastical Embroideries: The rectangular panels centred by a roundel embroidered with apostles; Saint John with emblematic eagle, and Saint Mark with lion framed within scrolled circular band surrounded by opulent scrolls of flowers & foliage appliquéd onto an olive green velvet ground embellished with 'old gold' ribbon framing the border. The needlework set in moulded black & gilt frame 17¼'' x 20'' (43.5 cm x 51 cm) inclusive.
