A FINE FRENCH JEWELLED PISTOL-FORM SCENT SPRAYER, 19TH CENTURY
the pistol with a circular vinaigrette in the flat-sided butt, with maker's mark and guarantee mark to the hinged cover, set with garnets, opals and turquoise stones, the metalwork engraved with scrolls and rosettes, the underside of the octagonal barrel features a slider that pulls back to lock the sprayer in place, when the hammer is cocked and the trigger pressed the scent sprayer is activated. 11cm long, 67 grams gross
