O´NEILL EUGENE: (1888-1953) American playwright, Nobel Prize winner for Literature, 1936. A.L.S., Gene O´Neill, one page, slim 4to, Provincetown, Massachusetts, n.d., to Jeanie Begg. O´Neill thanks his correspondent for her kind note, which he had been pleased to receive, and continues ´And all my best wishes for your future. Keep after Hopkins. Unfortunately there is nothing in "The Fountain" or "Welded" (this latter has only four characters) - but I know there will be sometime´. Some very light, minimal age wear, VG The Fountain and Welded were two full-length plays written by O´Neill in 1923 and 1924 respectively.
