SUBANDRIO: (1914-2004) Indonesian politician who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs 1957-66 and as Deputy Prime Minister 1962-66. Sentenced to death for his involvement in the ´30 September Movement´, Subandrio´s sentence was reduced to life imprisonment upon the request of the British government on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II.
