A RARE GLASS OVERLAY SNUFF BOTTLE China, Qing dynasty (1644-1911) h cm 7
Of convex form, the bottle is carved through a pale pink to whitish pink layer with rows of overlapping petals departing from a curled lotus leaf. The petals and leaf are finely incised to simulate veining and are superimposed on the white body. The cap is made of glass paste.
