A very fine pair of bas-relief carved Trophées d'Armes in two-tone gilded and silvered basswood. The first trophy features a shield adorned with a leafy rosette, the second a draped cuirass. They are enriched with numerous attributes such as quivers, arrows, spears, swords and axes, embellished respectively with an oak branch and a club evoking strength, and rushes and a standard symbolizing victory.
