Rare and important pair of barometer-thermometers in carved and gilded limewood. The barometer is mercury, the ring thermometer is alcohol. The circular dials, signed "par Pellerin", are suspended by ribbons at the top and finished with a pompom at the bottom. Two garlands of flowers and foliage descend from the knotted ribbons and surround the dials, which are encircled by heart-shaped raisins.
Paris. Louis XVI period.
