Rare Chinese porcelain "blue and white" ginger pot with finely chased bronze mounting. It is decorated with palace scenes featuring dignitaries and figures, surrounded by landscapes and plants. The body is flanked by two handles with lion masks holding rings between their teeth. It rests on a circular molded base, decorated with a frieze of gadroons.
Porcelain, China, Kangxi period (1662-1722).
