Pair of finely chased and gilded bronze "aux Enfants" andirons, symbolizing an allegory of winter. They are adorned with neoclassical motifs of Athenians, goat heads
draperies, rosettes, friezes of acanthus leaves and water leaves.
The ensemble rests on four tapered feet with leafy flutes, terminating in balls.
