French historic registration title
Probably the most legendary British saloon in motoring history: the perfect blend of 1960s family car and racing beast... This example is fitted with the 220 hp 3.8-litre engine and Borg Warner 3-speed automatic gearbox
The history of the car goes back to 1995 in the north of France, when a major restoration appears to have been carried out.
The current owner, a major French collector, acquired the car in 1998
At the time of the restoration, the paintwork
was completely redone, but 30 years later, there are significant traces of corrosion on the door sills; the upholstery was also
redone, and remains well preserved
Rarely used since 2017, the car is roadworthy but in need of a major overhaul; in August
2023, an overhaul was carried out, including an engine oil change and a check of the gearbox and axle; a valid roadworthiness test was carried out in March 2024, and a large number of minor faults can be consulted in the file
An ideal project for an enthusiast looking to acquire an excellent 1960s road car at a very reasonable price!
