French registration title
One of only 154 Jaguar XK 150 3.8 S Fixed Head Coupe (FHC) built, one of only 43 left-hand drive, and one of only 3 (!) sold
new in France by importer Delecroix Royal Elysées
“One of the marque’s most explosive cocktails”, according to Bernard Viart!
Definitely the best of the XKs, with its 265 hp E-Type engine with straight port cylinder head, its three carburettors and its limited slip differential
Known history: the car was acquired secondhand in the 1970s by Dominique Martin, who raced it extensively in VHC, with success, notably in the 1980 Tour de France Auto; the car was bought in 2005 by the hilarious and successful Jean-François Bouzanquet, who also took part in three Tour Auto events, before selling it and buying it again in 2021
Invoice file since the 2000s, car followed and developed by Francis Trichet, the XK wizard, with engine (forged pistons, largevalve cylinder head, oil cooler, large-beam water cooler, expansion tank, racing clutch and overdrive), brakes (large callipers in particular), and running gear (including 15-inch triple-spoke wheels) prepared
Unique racing look, colour scheme in homage to the legendary Le Mans Jaguar XJR-9 Silk Cut, bespoke seats (original seats and bumpers included in the sale); an E-Type in XK guise: the ideal car to race at Peter Auto, and in particular at the Tour Auto (HTP to be renewed)
