1971 FIAT GAMINE
UK Title
FFVE certificate
Customs cleared vehicle
The car was the brainchild of the racing cyclist Geminiani, a Fiat dealer in Monaco, who wanted to offer a small roadster based on the Fiat 500; the concept, designed by Vignale, was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1967
Produced by the Turin-based coachbuilder, 400 Fiat 500 Gamine were built in two series of 200 units between 1967 and 1971
Our model, acquired in England in 2002, was imported into France in 2006; its bodywork was repainted yellow many years ago, its black wheels and Ansa twin tailpipes give it a decidedly sporty look; the interior is in fair condition, with a handsome leather-wrapped aluminium steering wheel
Under the bonnet is a Fiat 126 engine fitted with a Dellorto 32 carburettor; as the car has not been driven much in recent years, a service will be required
This right-hand drive model is the perfect beach car, and will be your partner of choice for your seaside escapades this summer
