Paris, chez Didot le jeune, AN II. 3 volumes, large in-4°, contemporary binding in long-grained half-maroquin with corners, smooth spines with title, tomaison, and gilt decoration, yellow edges. Solid binding with a 4 cm split spine, more or less pronounced wear rubs, damaged corners. Collated, contains only 4 engravings out of 7. A wide-margined copy on strong paper, with some scattered foxing, particularly in the outer margins. Attractive black illustrations outside the text.
