In-16° (7.2 x 11, 2 cm), 90 (out of 96) uncounted pages, printed on vellum, red morocco, richly decorated and gilt ribbed spine, framed by two rows of gilt fillets and a gilt roulette, gilt floral irons at the corners, rich floral decoration in the center, gilt edges, gilt edges (18th century binding. The roulette and fleurons on the spine, the corners of the boards and the central medallion are representative of this period). 90 (of 96 ff) signed AM by 8 (missing ff. B5, E2 and E7, 72, G2, I8). Text of 26 lines, ruled. The illustration consists of 9 figures in an ochre and gold portico frame, accompanied by text, 6 miniatures and numerous initials in blue or ochre with gold highlights: Musician in medallion opening the text (A1); Prologue to the Gospel according to John. principio erat verbum (B2); Annunciation. Sent by God, the angel Gabriel announces to Mary that she will give birth to the Messiah (C7); Visitation of the Virgin Mary to her cousin Elizabeth (D4); Office of the Holy Spirit (E4); Shepherd and shepherdess with their flock. Scene of the lost sheep (E7); Presentation of Jesus in the temple before the old man Symeon (F5); Flight into Egypt (F8); Psalm of King David.
