Trained in her father's workshop, Elisabeth's career was short, but undoubtedly enough to achieve considerable success and admission to the Royal Academy of Amsterdam in 1837. Her production counts portraits, still lifes, and particularly interior scenes in the Flemish and Dutch taste.
