Michel Bourbon (1937-2014): Emperor Caligula in cuirass. Bust on pedestal in reconstituted marble and epoxy resin. Height 90 - Width 70 cm. Michel Bourbon was responsible for the antique copies commissioned by the painter Balthus for the gardens of the Villa Medici in Rome in the 1970s. The original bust belongs to the Farnese collections and is kept in one of the niches dedicated to the twelve Caesars in the entrance to the Palazzo Farnese in Rome.
