Accordingly, prospective buyers should familiarise themselves with the relevant customs regulations of their country and ensure they are able to import this item prior to bidding. This item has been registered as exempt from the UK Ivory Act 2018. Condition Report: On very close inspection some fine superficial scratches are visible, but to the the naked eye the portrait presents well. The ivory is slightly 'dished' at the edges but appears to be in otherwise good overall condition. The hinge of the case is broken and the glass is detached.
