Dimensions: 20 x 30 x 47 cm.
The decoration is composed of friezes with herringbone marquetry on the sides, as well as on the lid, framing eight-pointed stars. On the front, there are marquetry jambs with octagons. "This type of decoration based on bands is completely different from that of Granada, and there must be a workshop, perhaps in Seville, that made this type of inlay that is found in examples from the 16th century and later" (Aguiló, Mª Paz: El Mueble en España, S. XVI y XVII, pg. 227, n.º 106, para. 3º, referring to the similar chest that today is in the Museum of Popular Arts of Seville).
