Colombe, from: Jean Cocteau, Picasso de 1916 a 1961. 1962. Lithograph on laid paper. With the watermark of the artist's name. 24.5 x 40 cm (37 x 55.3 cm). Mounted freestanding in spots on mount backing. With centerfold inherent to the work. - Paper very slightly wavy in margins, very slight crease lower right, overall very good. Splendid, chalky print with margins.
Bloch 1051, Mourlot 372, Cramer 117 - One of 25 impressions of the total edition of 255 copies, numbered in Roman numerals in the imprint. - Sheet 15 of the 24-part portfolio. - Printed by Mourlot Fréres, Paris 1962 - On the occasion of Picasso's 80th birthday, Pierre Bertrand, Cocteau's publisher, compiled 11 texts by the poet that reflect his friendship with Picasso. The texts are accompanied by 24 lithographs, some of which are modeled on Cocteau's style.

With center fold, immanent to the work. - Paper very slightly buckled in margins, very slight crease mark on lower right, all in all very good.
