Sol Lewitt: Works of the 60s and 70s. 1998. multiple. Yellow, crumpled paper with the stamped lettering "Art.Object", with typographic work and exhibition details on the verso. With the accompanying cardboard box, this with typographical information on the upper side and with the number "46" embossed on the inner flap. Additionally with folded information sheet, there with typographical information on the structure of the multiple. Paper D approx. 11 cm, box 7.5 x 7.5 x 8 cm. - Box with slight signs of wear. Overall very good.

Ubu Gallery, New York 1998 - Published on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name. - Following Sol Lewitt's concept that the idea is just as much a work of art as any other is also evident in the crumpled "Art.Object". In combination with the box, the ball of paper becomes a work of art simply through the idea that it is one. Sol Lewitt thus celebrates the genius of thought and the power that emanates from it.
