The contemporary Italian painter made his debut in the 1980s with his first works at the collective exhibition "Perspective" during Art Basel. This was followed by gallery exhibitions in Munich at Tanit, in Cologne, Basel and Geneva as well as in numerous Italian cities. Stylistically, his work is characterized by a dominant, powerful opulence that playfully combines figuration with abstraction.
Mixed media with pastel chalk and pencil on sketch paper. Signed, dated and titled on the verso. Spot-inserted to mat's back, free-standing, framed under glass. On frame's verso with label of Galerie Tanit, Munich, with handwritten work details. Drawing fixed. - Barely noticeable, very short marginal tear (approx. 0.1 cm) in upper left margin. Few slight handling marks. On the verso with traces of mounting and studio traces. Very good overall. -
