Meuser, Klaus
o.T. 1986 (?). Mixed media with colored pencil and wax crayon on light wove cardboard. 23 x 32.3 cm. Signed and barely legibly dated. Mounted in spots on support, mounted in passepartout and framed under glass. - Slight traces of creasing in the margins. Isolated studio traces, also verso. There with paper abrasion in places. Overall good.
The drawings by the German artist Klaus Meuser almost always feature architectural or expansive, geometric forms and borrow from his sculptural work. His style oscillates playfully between minimal art and concrete art, and Meuser often uses colorful accents in his compositions, which give them a lively and exciting effect.
